CHFD Goes to Hartford

A big thank you to the officers and members of the Hartford Fire Department who went above and beyond in rolling out the red carpet for our guests from England!! Our group was assigned their very own Lieutenant from Special Services and given an open ticket to everything Hartford Fire. Members rode Tac 1 (took in an industrial pin job), toured the academy, machine shop, and were given personal tours of every fire house. We were assigned our own driver who drove us around and pointed out all the recent jobs. Every member we met today welcomed us and many laughs were shared. We were offered to spend the night but with our stomachs full, and with more shirts/patches than could fit in our bags, we decided to call it a day. The brotherhood is alive and well up in the city, thanks guys!
