IMPORTANT MESSAGE

The Board of Finance and Board of Selectman will be addressing the Safer Grant Funding at their meetings being held this Wednesday (July 15th) and Thursday (July 16th).
We need your help! The involvement and presence of all Colchester Fire Department members, their families, friends, relatives, brother firefighters and citizens will be needed if we are to be successful.

July 15 & 16: Colchester Town Hall, Room 1 @ 19:00
Members can meet at Station 28 prior or meet us there.

Busy morning with 7 runs before noon including responses to three fires and a serious rescue.

Members responded to a reported fall victim with entrapment and serious injuries. Patient was extricted using saws, packaged and transported ALS.

Proof that automatic alarms should be treated as structure fires until proven otherwise. First arriving Engine found an active alarm with smoke to the floor. Door forced, search found an active fire on the stove. High smoke throughout, several animal rescues made.
