Technical Haz-Mat Incident (8/5/06)

CHFD responded to an LPG incident in Hebron. Upon arrival, ET-328 was briefed by Hebron Command who informed the crew that a resident had inadvertently drilled through a full 250lb LPG tank against the building with an active leak. CHFD took Operations (FF Lee) and worked with Hebron putting several protective lines in place. A technical crew from Colchester then was able to offensivly approach the tank, deploy a plug and strap to the leaking tank and assist the propane company with removal of the tank.
