5/25 Busy Day

18 runs in a 24 hr stretch kept volunteers busy today. At one point mutual aid was requested to cover a gas leak while CHFD units were tied up operating at 3 other calls (MCI MVA, grill fire and medical). It was also a day for violence with several crews involved in violent incidents that they will not soon forget. The members and police officers involved in this weekends seperate assaults were treated and doing fine and this serves as a reminder to always be safe and never let your guard down.
