Bozrah 3rd Alarm

Station 28 was dispatched to Bozrah for the reported working fire in a commercial manufacturing facility. First arriving Bozrah officer reported heavy smoke, source unknown and a crew from Bozrah began an aggressive push into the building. Colchester's E128 arrived quick as the first Engine company fully staffed and was directed to stretch a backup line. Once the line was in position E128's crew maintained a ready position protecting the egress. After the long, tough push into the unknown, Bozrah's crew (L126) began to get low on air and with the fire still not found, E128's crew was re-directed to meet up and assist the initial Bozrah crew. Using the TIC, the fire was located, lines repositioned and the fire attack was initiated. Companies from Yantic joined the fun manning a second line on the fire. Interior crews took a beating operating among heavy stacks of flammable foam, low visibility and getting drenched by the sprinklers. Colchester's L128 worked with other companies opening up the roof and providing ventilation for their interior brothers. Colchester's HT128 worked the water supply and fed the sprinkler connection/standpipe. No injuries, everyone went home safe.
