8/21 2nd Alarm Haz-Mat



First due companies arrived at the AmeriGas facility and found an active LPG leak with a meter alarming fog engulfing numerous occupied down-wind businesses.

8/19 Basement Fire



Engine Co 128 arrived with light smoke and very high CO throughout. Unable to locate the source, a search turned up a 'hidden' concealed crawl space with limited acces and a smoldering fire that flashed burning the contents of the entire area.

CHFD handling an active fuel leak across from Station 28. 1 line stretched for protection, once deemed safe, members used pump to remove fuel from vehicle.

8/3 Car Fire, Drowning...

After some brief R&R, Station 28 volunteers were back at it handling another 11 run day including a working car fire and a pediatric drowning (Pt is well and expected to make full recovery).

8/2 Pig Roast

Members took a night off and gathered for the annual 28 Pig Roast. Only Pics from the early hours: 'what happens at the pig roast, stays at the pig roast'. Great times, great food and the live band were enjoyed by all. Thanks to the Station 28 duty crews for handling all the calls during the event.
