Westchester Housing Evacuation

EMS Capt. Car 628 was handling a routine service call in one of Colchester's limited assistance elderly housing communities when he happened upon a community wide power outage. Given the frigid temperatures and susceptible immobile population, a response was started to handle the potentially serious situation. With help from the American Red Cross, Westchester Church and Colchester Emergency Ops, an effective evacuation was managed. Lt. Giudice (acting duty officer) had the Westchester command.
