5/25 Busy Day

18 runs in a 24 hr stretch kept volunteers busy today. At one point mutual aid was requested to cover a gas leak while CHFD units were tied up operating at 3 other calls (MCI MVA, grill fire and medical). It was also a day for violence with several crews involved in violent incidents that they will not soon forget. The members and police officers involved in this weekends seperate assaults were treated and doing fine and this serves as a reminder to always be safe and never let your guard down. Thank you to Marlborough, Hebron and Gardner Lake FDs for your assistance during this crazy weekend.

5/19 MVAs

Members were kept busy with numerous MVA's over the weekend.

5/16 MVA w/ Entrapment

At ~11:30, CHFD responded to RT.85 @ Lake Hayward Rd for a 2 car MVA with entrapment. Rescue 1 went to work upon arrival, PT extricated and delivered to EMS w/ minor injuries.
