~ 15:55 Rt 149 area of firehouse. Reported rollover, serious w 1 patient unconscious & trapped. Patient extricated 16:06. Transported ALS to Hartford

2/14 Structure Fire

Rt 354. The first due Engine was faced with a 250 gallon fuel tank on fire and boiling inside a commercial greenhouse attached to a 2 story WF building. Aggressive, coordinated and safe tactics allowed for the quick mitigation of a potential large property loss. Great work again everyone!

2/6 Two Extrications for Rescue 1

After extricating a man trapped in a log pile, Rescue-1 responded to East Haddam for an MVA. R-1 arrived as the first due and members completed stabalization and then moved to assisting with victim removal through the roof.
Members finally getting to pick up dinner after a busy evening.

2/2 Car Fire

Members take note: Once again, several lift struts blew off during the fire. Remember to use reach of nozzle from a safe distance for initial attack, then move in for final extinguishment and overhaul. Car fires are not worth getting injured over.
